Jake Cox is a Chicago-based journalist and audience engagement specialist studying at DePaul University, where he is set to graduate in June 2026. As a newsletter intern at Block Club Chicago, he designs and writes email campaigns while developing new ways to connect essential neighborhood reporting to readers.

Jake is also a proud alum, of The DePaulia, DePaul’s student paper he served as Digital Managing Editor, blending data reporting, web presentation and editorial work to strengthen the newsroom’s digital coverage.
